Prince of Persia® The Shadow and the Flame App Reviews

The game isnt opening and im staying at the Ubisofts logo.

In-app purchases and ads (seriously, ADS in a paid game???) ruin the experience.

Great game, but theres absolutely no sound and it kind of ruins it a bit, please fix this

Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame is an amazing game. The graphics are gorgeous, the soundtrack is great, and the play-time is long and satisfying. However, it would be nice for a new update optimized for iOS 7... Maybe a few more levels, graphic touch ups and new enemies and weapons? Anyway, its a 5/5 game for me, but I would REALLY love some more variety of PoP and Assassins Creed apps on the AppStore.

Stays at first screen, then locks up. Cant be played. Seems like this has been a problem for awhile now. Dont buy. It dont work. Im using iPhone 6 Plus.

Well, the games graphics is really nice. However there is no real storyline, surprise, excitement. The game is relatively short unfortunately. The enemies are easy to defeat and the fighting are boring. So there is no challenge to play the game. Hey what happened? You used to make great game! Sorry, but you should make a better game with more fantastic story and real challenges. I am a bit disappointed guys...

The game is good but in my iPod touch 4g its to slow and the game crash every time, a waste of money because i cant play it

I can get the character to run left, but not right. So no game play, therefore no practical review except save your money folks.

I tried Prince of Persia Classic, and I enoyed it a lot. So I chose to get this, being the sequel... And yet again I find myself entertained by a Prince of Persia game. I do not know what the original version of this game was like, just as I did not know when trying Prince of Persia Classic. What I do know is that these two games I have are great. Once again I have no real complaints. My only wish... Remake Prince of Persia 3D, the last part of the original Trilogy. I have a hunch that when that game is remade, it will be every bit as good as these two games are. Anyway, this game is everything the first remake was... except better in all aspects. That is awesome. Like the first remake, this one gets 5 stars, and definitely an A.

I am a huge fan of the original two Prince of Persia games... I was lucky enough to snag "Prince of Persia: Retro" before it was pulled from the AppStore. I played that through from start to finish and enjoyed every minute of it... I was hoping they would also release "Shadow and the Flame" as a retro version featuring the original art, music and voice acting... What we have here is a fantastic effort to modernize an old game... But its really lacking the charm of the original... It has gone from a stand-out classic, to "just another 3D platformer"... The original is driven by story, this one is driven by "in-app purchases" and "unlocking achievements"... Not impressed. The Myst, and Broken Sword franchises are doing it right...porting over the actual original games. If you want to make a remake with the advantages of the continuous revenues of modern social gaming, fine, do-it to-it, but please also release the original... Trust us, well purchase both out of curiosity... (I own POP retro, classic, and now Shadow and the flame remake)... and I prefer the originals 100 to one...I think the iPad/iPhone is a fantastic tool to bring classic games to the mobile environment, and I will also continue to support your remakes... But youd definitely get an extra chunk of money from me by releasing the originals, such as Prince of Persia Retro... Thanks.
